"content": "As an outsider (but teacher in maths _and_ social studies), the most obvious change seems to be to get rid of \"winner takes it all\" in the electoral college. Why on earth don't a party get ~60% of the electors if it gets 60% of the votes??\n\n(Ranked choice, and lots of other stuff, would also be nice, though. But this seems like an easy first step.)",
