Yeah. It's a soul thing. [to me]. For me it's like I've never belonged here. I've been so incredibly lucky [or my talents saved me] but it came at great compromise my entire life.
I don't know man...I don't want to bum you out.
I've just worked really hard [not some bootstrap genx/boomer argurment[ and got very lucky along the way, so I can't understand why that hasn't happened for others.
Give it 20 more years, but do what YOU want. in the meantime then if it's still the same you did what you want.
It is not unreasonable to have a visceral as well as spiritual rebellion to this. Maybe that is the way of all the times though, But if I'd done more of what I want along the way....
