Not everybody has a voice that can be recognized. This can be a permanent condition or a temporary one (e.g. laryngitis) Like any A11y discussion, it's not about it happening frequently (which drives most tech discussion) but that it happens to people that are rarely seen and more importantly, affects them deeply.
