I wouldn't want the princess job - I prefer a job where I could break up with my guy and keep my job. Also the media can be rather brutal (Waity Katy and all the racist stuff thrown at Meghan).
I just think we shouldn't hold up marrying-a-prince as a fairy tale and romantic goal for girls. I understand that princess Mary doesn't want to lose her job and the life she's living right now.
But all in all, this Stick-to-your-man-at-all-costs is really conservative. What example do princesses set for little girls?
(From the aristocrats' view, marrying people who aren't aristocrats makes a lot of sense because aristocrats really were WAY to much related to each other back in the days...)
