HOWEVER, what IS new (and what cannot be glossed over!) is that many of us are MORE SUSCEPTIBLE than we were a few years ago. repeat covid infections have left MANY of us with weaker immune systems than we started out with in 2020.
i know that it hasn't caught up to a lot of people yet that they are now immune compromised, but that doesn't make it not-true.
