You don’t need to donate to this charity, no one is making you. However, the people who voluntarily chose to see the value in the people running it.

In your opinion, what is a reasonable salary then for each person, and how does that compare to their other employment opportunities?

If you are single and have no kids then these salaries might seem decent. However, if you’re trying to hire a killer capable of raising and deploying tens of millions annually, they’re not gonna do it if other higher paying offers are on the table and they’ve got a family to take care of.
