The first step to making a change is noticing there is a problem. You can get bones from your butcher very cheap and in some cases free. Or get your roasting meats with the bone still in rather than deboned.
Get a big pot and get to boiling. It's really easy and you can favour it however you like.
Store it in the fridge in a glass jar rather than plastic.
