petermccormack (nprofile…whwj) thinks we should pay politicians a lot more money so they are more immune to corruption, but I think we should make them take vows of poverty. Make them give up all their wealth and don't allow them to own hardly anything, even after they get out of office. Then you'd weed out all the politicians that are totally motivated by self interest and get ones that are more interested in serving and sacrificing for their country.
