Hamas doesn't give a fuck about Palestinian rights. Doesn't give a fuck about them in general.
They are an Iranian-backed terrorist group whose goal is to destroy Israel. Palestinians are just a tool to that end, and an eminently disposable one at that.
Israel did not somehow force Hamas to launch this war by breaking the ceasefire with a massacre. And even a saner Israeli government would have retaliated against this.
