Actually the only reason we're sick of it is all the money the rich have poured into a broad campaign, telling us it's "just a flu" in order to keep their wheels spinning. That happened on the same global scale the virus is spreading. Without their effort, we wouldn't argue about any of it *at all*, because without their tremendous amplification, the occasional oddball "opinion" on it would still just be dismissed as outright lie and dangerous to the public.
