"content": "Siamese cats (and others with those colours) have a mutated gene that makes them unable to produce fur pigment at normal body temperature. The gene only works at the colder extremeties, so those are the only ones that turn dark. A Siamese cat's fur, in other words, is a thermal image of the cat. :3",
