I feel like Fedi activity comes in waves. Anyone else feel that way?

I don't mean regarding only new registrations. I'm also talking about activity from longtime, more casual users. It's very interesting to me that for some, it's pretty noticeable when there's a dip in activity for a time and it's because a lot of users taking a break at the same time for whatever reason.🤔
