2. #Nostr: Just freedom without #centralization

Compared to Bitcoin, Nostr has no single chain of blocks to represent a global state.

Our "nodes" don't pick the longest chain and censor every other alternative.

There are no miners to pick which posts are allowed to go into the chain.

There is no proof of work to create space in the chain.

There is no single core codebase to control any changes to the protocol.

There is just freedom.

The most raw encoding of freedom one can have.

6. When Openness Hurts: A Hard Lesson in Nostr Identity

Well I tried for 3 weeks to reach out to someone on Nostr to pay them back for a beer, they never responded. I thought i had the wrong profile so I messaged another profile that appeared to be his also and the other profile responded (making me think I had the correct profile) I then paid this profile 8 bucks for a beer that I owed the original person only to find out i paid an imposter. No to jazzed about Nostr right now.

Totally feel ripped off and not really into Nostr at this point.
