What are they fretting about exactly? I feel like we're placing way too much on the "sanctity of life" while ignoring the individual who apparently has no free will.

My opinion that assisted dying shouldn't be determined by age nor health condition (be that mental or physical) but solely by the individual involved is a bit of an outlier sure but why can't someone leave this realm while their faculties are still intact and not be subject to a gradual deterioration of body and mind? All very Catholic if you ask me.
