As someone who recalls the 'innocent until proven Irish' attitudes of certain sections of UK officialdom in the 1970s and 80s, I do not trust any definition of extremism from this current government, defined by its toxic blend of arrogance, ignorance, and breathtakingly incoherent incompetence.
