The ironic thing about the whole Meta/Threads federation fiasco is that Pixelfed doesn't meet the requirements of Threads federation because we don't have a public firehose feed.
I really don't care about Threads, so maybe this will be fixed or maybe not.
Pixelfed isn't a microblogging platform, and I feel dumb for even getting involved lol
