Good morning. I've been neglecting observing the birds around our yard. Yesterday I spent time sitting quietly outside. I must have become a fixture at some point because the birds soon ignored me + resumed activity. I saw 3 species I'd been missing lately + one bird I'd never seen before.
Too often I sit at the computer, thinking I'll notice what is going on outside the window. Wrong! I was reminded to stop + take time to look around me.
Today I'll build this time into my day.
