MacPorts' ZMap has been updated!
Though, the person who committed the change, claims that I should have checked PRs since I guess they had contributed such changes before I submitted mine?
Fine, whatever, I am more than happy when others contribute which is why I put openmaintainer in any Portfile where I am a maintainer.
But I did search open PRs.
I've also searched closed PRs.
There was no PR submitted to update ZMap to 4.3.2 aside from the one I submitted.
I get the impression the individual is a weird who wants to take credit?
It isn't the first time they've done things that are outside of standard MacPorts operating procedure with regards to ZMap either.
I'm not even sure how to handle that. It's fucking weird.
Don't get me wrong, as a person with an ops background, I have made changes without formalities for decades in my career.
But that was for my job. Typically when being alerted to something breaking in prod which needed immediate fixing.
Not within a collaborative open source project.
