I walked the dog three times today and there was a HUGE garden party happening in one particular backyard around the corner
Across many adult ages, starting at 3, still going at 7, with booze, laughter. Mostly women.
At 7, I asked two of the slightly tipsy older ladies standing outside, waiting for a ride
"what's the celebration? y'all seem really happy"
Turns out, it's the last day of school
They were ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS
