During the summer of 1963, we moved from Yokosuka, Japan to San Diego, California. There was a local TV show on Saturday mornings called Moona Lisa's Science Fiction Theater. I thought it was awesome and would spend part of my Saturday mornings watching the show. If you are my age and from San Diego, you probably remember the show. Later, a more widely known character, Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, reminded me of her.
"Moona Lisa had long, straight black hair with bangs, stiletto heels and wore a black catsuit that showed much cleavage. She sat on a pile of rocks with "moon smoke" floating around the stage.
