Wheat pennies come pretty easy when you pick through boxes. I don't think I've come across a box that didn't have at least a handful. Sometimes you'll get as many as 25. I don't bother looking for most of the rare pennies that collectors pay big money for, but the wheatie bois are infrequent and identifiable enough that it's easy to look through them later to check if any are rare.
