"content": "nostr:npub1gmx4vz0z4waf3ff40j7vdy7stdn4c0gne6lkd0pwtae46lzph4mqajatcq What makes me sad is remembering a conversation with a dear friend who I found out carries a gun everywhere and is a quiet NRA member, and when I asked him why, he told me story after story about being repeatedly beaten up in elementary school. His dad stopped speaking to him because he was a \"p***y.\" Now he can't be anywhere without a gun. As an armed black man in a very white state, he's in serious danger. I get it, that fear runs deep.",
