So I get an email from noreply@account.tiktok.com saying "to verify your account enter this code in tiktok"

I don't remember getting tiktok ever, but maybe I did, so I go to tiktok type in my email and click "forgot password"

and it says that the email isn't registered

what does this mean?

The email address looks legit and the links in it (which I didn't click just hovered over) seem to go to the actual tiktok.com domain
