nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqhhzlhv0g3ld07a4l2924rujalzk6g9vwccn3n7kmksfe2zm74luqnd7j56 (nprofile…7j56) What I wonder is that in open source, there might not be as many UX/UI designer who can think/rethink / redesign tools but there are a lot of programmer who can re-code solutions that have been created commercially. So the programmer rely on the existing solution, instead of exploring other ways to go about it. I also see that sometime when a open source tool is really innovative, often it gets commercialized and the open source part get deprecated or killed, or simply shut down. I think there might not be a lot of incentive for people to create massive innovation that can fail as an open source project, as there are not a lot of mechanism like seed funding and investor for open source projects.
