Today I heard about how schools in England are trying a new “AI-powered” system. It gives kids tests and assignments and then uses their scores on previous assignments to personalise their studying to subjects where they need to improve.

A bank of computer-based lessons and assessments written by teachers and tagged by subject matter is apparently now “AI” and presumably the developer can now charge significantly more for it than they did for boring old “edtech”.
