The shock and awe reporting style of the media does a disservice to pro-Palestine student protesters. The only thing the media will show you are violent and traumatizing images with little context. What they won’t show you is WHAT PROTESTERS ARE DEMANDING. I think a lot of folks believe it’s just about raising awareness. That’s not accurate. These are tangible, explicit demands for transparency and divestment from apartheid and genocidal institutions in Israel. They’re going after the financing.
