I like 1st person shooters. I also like 3rd person shooters such as Gears of War.

But to me, the best shooters are top-down shooters such as Gauntlet, Alien Breed, Shadowgrounds, Neon Chrome, Hotline Miami, and Enter the Gungeon.

There's even a version of Halo that's top down. That would be Halo: Spartan Assault, and I like it as much as the first person shooter Halo games.
