There is not only ice in glaciers which is melting, there is also ice on mountain summits. Because of the melting of that ice mountains are actually "shrinking". In the overview you see the height loss of several Swiss mountains (and Mont Blanc) between 1960 and 2023.
Not all mountains became lower. The Mönch actually grew with 11 meters compared to 1960. Most likely this is because of its location on the north side of the Alps where a lot of precipitation is falling.
