Listened to the story of dude who looked at an eclipse for many minutes.

I'm all for experiencing things but I don't have to experience everything. Someone says "Hey Adam, staring at an eclipse will cause retinal damage"

I say to myself, that sounds reasonable, whatever this person's motivation; I'm not stating at any eclipse.

But people do. They do stare at eclipses. Adults do this.
