Very preoccupied by the COVID surge in US where I am, and in many other places. The statistical (wastewater) evidence lines up with my anecdotal knowledge of *many* friends actively infected, including some for the first time, even those who mask carefully. I still mask everywhere in indoor public places and don't attend indoor unmasked gatherings. If only my healthcare workers would mask!
