i get the feeling a few people expect kitsune tails to be an unserious meme game when in fact its really earnest and heart warming and i don't really see what we could've done to avoid that since apparently "there's girls and they're gay and some of them are fox girls" equals memes to some people

and like, idk. i find the idea that a fantasy story about heteronormative romance is considered "normal" but a fantasy story about lesbian romance is memes pretty dispiriting
