Example: Met wife in Guatemala in the middle of absolutely anything. That was luck, but if I stood sitting at home the probabilities of that happening would be a lot less.

That brought me a new nationality, got an apartment and thanks to be exactly there got the luck of getting a job in a small company, grow with the company and I was able to stack sats as I could never dream of. Now I speak 3 languages.... and half lol

True, it was a lot of work, effort and suffering, but a lot of luck as well, that I had that because I exposed myself to have it.
