Disclaimer: I've never been a conflict photojournalist, and am certain I would be terrible at it.
But I definitely know these particular cameras and lenses, which were interesting choices. They clearly were intentional, unusual configurations, likely selected in consultation with photojournalists or at least someone with Opinions About Cameras.
