I don't really know of anything that gives me head energy instead of body energy, except Ritalin, but that stuff also turns me into a robot and gives me constipation and headaches. Many people use coffee to help them concentrate but I find it just turns me into a pinball. Lots of mechanical energy and alertness but no concentration. Might work for a high-stress situation, which is typically not what you need for white collar work unless you're a stock broker or such.
