If you want to do a thing online (and I do not care what that thing is) you can finance it in one or more of exactly five different ways:
1. Advertising
2. Subscriptions
3. Selling shit
4. Donations
5. Crimes

If your organization is large and would like some measure of stability, you're really limited to the first three.
