So over the past few month's I've been asking friends and colleagues to carry my Geiger counter on various flights. Most are DUD to AKL or WLG in Airbus A320's that get to ~37K feet. There's one trip to Samoa & back (see how radiation declines towards the equator!) and one trip in an ATR 72, which only got to 18K feet with a smaller dose. I find this fascinating! #radiation #airliners #NewZealand
