Sorry for the long video but i had to share this.
After a month working with Godot 4 for character controllers and trying to get around all the crazy bugs given by get real velocity i surrendered and tried an Euler approximation. Which is TERRIBLE, because I'm no longer used the sliding algorithm to update velocity.
The values are EXACTLY the same as get real velocity.
There is no way to get an updated 3D velocity from a slide.
This is why people leave engines.
