this is the part where I remind the world that other people don't decide what I 'need' vs what I 'want' because both of those are equal in importance as far as my computers are concerned

it's my computer and I will control it, regardless of the wishes of Internet Safety Crusade. anything that takes control out of my hands and gives it to corporate landlords is a non-starter.
