Hey #chickens people, y’all ever think about how chickens have an entire language without words? Never stops amazing me. A chicken has a feeling, and it comes out as a noise. The flock mates hear the noise and feel the same feeling. That’s language!

This morning I realized old lady Mary was hesitant to jump-fly out of the coop. Brak-brak-brak, the old bones are sore! I leaned a mesh frame against the coop threshold, to make a ramp, and after a little more brak-brak complaining about the new thing, she walked down it and joined the flock. I hear you, lady, I really do. 🦴
