If I spot a home that is about to be torn down in my neighborhood, I rade yard & dig up any cool plants that remain before they get bulldozed.
Two years ago I dug this bromeliad out of the 100+ yr old Arturo mansion, (like Arturo Fuente cigars) Elvis filmed two movie scenes in this home before it was bought by a builder for its lot that is a full city block. They are building 6 large homes on the lot today🤦🏻♂️
This bromeliad was completely dried out, but I brought it back to life and this is its first bloom.
