I think the negative effects are inevitable, but we should maximize the positives while they’re available. We’re always going to be out running the capitalists, but that they’re committing to ActivityPub is proof that we move the needle over time till we get more systemic change. I understand where you’re coming from but if we face reality we can find tangible things to enjoy and to revise.
