What counts as an "accident"? NTSB has extremely strict rules on what has to be reported, and a lot of the time even the tiniest incident makes it into these numbers.
I wonder if there's a chart that accounts for "intensity" of these events (for example, pilot passing the hold line without authorization vs an emergency exit door falling off the plane mid-flight).
