I do believe everyone can transition to a clean sustainable lifestyle if they are contentious about their decisions affecting the environment over time little by little & eventually be carbon free. It is everyone’s responsibility to decarbonize Earth! Decarbonization is not someone else’s problem! Greenhouse gases is everyone’s problem! It’s not only the worlds government’s responsibility, but also every human being on Earth has a responsibility to decarbonize because everyone is emitting by living in the old fossil fuel dependent lifestyle.
If you think the ultimate responsibility is to raise children, then I would reconsider your approach. You attack me without really addressing anything I mentioned is ad hominem! Calling people names without addressing their concerns isn’t going to win you any points in a debate or being an example to your children. Would you want your children to call people names such as dumb or ridiculing someone’s truthful opinion as the dumbest without addressing the arguments? Scientists first discovered Global warming was attributed by humans as early as 1896, yet ever since then people have been in constant crazy denial like you! Yes, you quoted me as saying that Global Warming, “Could’ve been avoided,” is completely a truthful statement had we all take heed to professional scientists who knew the facts more than your short-term gains in economics! Go back through all the recessions, all of which are caused by short term speculation in the free market enterprises! Humans aren’t learning and keep doing the same thing over and expecting different results, you dummy! Whether it’s economics or natural resources allocation there has always been a history of Collapse because of market failures in distribution of natural resources allocation!
Every short-term thinking speculator who either is in denial or see that they will loose profits have substantially wasted lots of time that human’s could have come together with a solution to abate global warming! All those deniers including ExxonMobile and other Fossil Fuels lobby needs to take responsibility for paying for their externalities that they have ignored and in turn impacted many lives regarding health and environmental degradation! Now all these Mass Polluters needs to be held accountable!!!!! No more neglecting externalities!!!!!
The world now has less than 33% biodiversity than preindustrial age, that is catastrophic! Humans must do everything in our power to stop & reverse our human made climate catastrophe that has now, as you can see, affected weather patterns tremendously! All the massive weather disasters are also causing massive population migration so people can live a better life just like you & me! Again, you check your own financial privilege!!!!! Fossil fuels are NOT a necessity when the Earth is already reaching tipping points that are detrimental to health of our world ecosystem, Gaia.
The old carbon emitting lifestyle is either driving gasoline engine cars, cooking on gas or fire stovetop, gas heating, ventilation & air conditioning units & etc! All of us collectively must save the Earth’s atmosphere, environment, ecological & biodiversity system! It doesn’t matter if a country is developing there are clean solutions for developing right now! The people who are poverish needs to be supported by the people who are wealthy and who already benefited from the industrial revolution by providing the clean solutions to the developing and poor nations in their need to survive. It is the right thing to do and their responsibility for developed wealthy nations who are all those who have already developed and benefited from fossil fuels while emitting incalculable amounts of carbon emissions into the atmosphere to help the poorer undeveloped nations with cleaner technology in their means of development. In 2018 there were more than 8 million people dying from carbon emissions (Harvard, 2021)! That is too much death attributed to carbon emissions, there should not even be one death associated to human energy production! The people who are excusing their use of fossil fuels for their mere convenience while neglecting the harmful health detriments, then these very same people who are also being immoral unconscionably! That attitude MUST change!
I believe in helping each other in a socialized regenerative participatory democracy. It absolutely makes no sense to me that the wealthy who is hoarding cash or #Bitcoin while also not having any useful utility of such accumulation of wealth! The US tax laws heavily favored the rich while burdening the middle & poverish with income extraction for public goods such as infrastructure, defense, healthcare and other US institutional foundations. It’s absolutely astounding & despicable of the hypocrisy of the untaxed/very low taxed haves (wealthy class) complaining about the government not doing enough or there’s too much government and also complaining about the crime and homelessness in their backyard because the have-nots (middle & poverish class) are struggling with the bread crumbs that are left over after they have paid majority of the taxes for all citizens including the top untaxed 1%-10% of society! For the rich, there’s absolutely no utility to the public good of that hoarding of money! Rich people complain of the haves-nots are detestable when there are hardworking Americans trying to make ends meet sometimes losing their homes while going homeless! It’s time to put the Riches useless hoarded capital to public use! #TaxTheRich!
All the fossil fuels methods of living have rendered itself obsolete by affecting everyone’s health in the world either from carbon emissions inhalation or by catastrophic weather phenomena. The more carbon that humans use as fuels, then the more regular & worsening of severe weather events impacting human civilizations. Your #Bitcoin keys, mansions, houses, basements and or bunkers are not immune from severe weather events! Hurricanes, scorching fiery heat, wildfires, forest fires, urban fires, tornadoes, lightning strikes, torrential rains, floods or what have you! The Austrian economic principles are not sustainable in a finite system that we all call planet Earth! Think of planet Earth as a common good that we all must use. Now try applying the tragedy of the commons to our Earth system in an Austrian economic system. In all rational and conclusions, you can think of, the Austrian Economy doesn’t work with the finite tragedy of the commons system. In Austrian economics the crux of the system are fundamentally flawed with a free market enterprise with No government intervention with absolute freedoms & absolute individuality. That in itself breaks the first law of thermodynamics that in a closed system with finite matter, energy cannot be created or destroyed, it is conserved. I say that Austrian rules of absolute goes to infinity when the Earth is a closed finite system, a total contradiction!
We all must strive for participatory social democratic regeneration economic system. That is a steady state system that will sustain human civilizations for many millennia to come. We must all think that we all participate in a closed system with finite resources working in a circular economic system with negative and positive feedback loops that recharge our natural resources, such as water and energy. The only thing that penetrates Earth’s system or ozone layer is the sun’s solar photonic rays emitted to our Earth’s ecosystem that gives life to all our biodiversity, so there is no need for fossil fuels!
