Threads will have as many users as 2019 Twitter within ~3 months at its rate of growth. I don't find Threads "empty" per se, I see plenty of posts from people I don't know. But it's weird that it could be Twitter-sized without ever having any sort of usefulness, unique culture, or "moment". There's been nothing notable that happened ON Threads. It just... kind of is there.
