If you are desperate enough to avoid the custom of somehow "relaxing" on the beach because it's clearly an enormous sandbox where you don't even have to wear most of your clothes, you can build some pretty elaborate disposable miniature labyrinths and then wash off in the ocean. This was one of my best I think. Check it out.
