I've been struggling to engage with my writing of late. I feel skittish, wary of the process. My fingers brush over the keys. My eyes dart across existing words. Then I'm off to find something else to do. Fold laundry. Clean the bathroom. Wash the dog. Anything to avoid writing. The feeling always passes eventually , but these moments of fearfulness are always confounding.
