An Albanian drug dealer who sneaked back into Britain despite being deported at least twice is now in jail.
Ronaldo Zani was first kicked out of the country in 2019 after he was found in possession of cocaine.
He returned a matter of months later and said to his customers: “I’m back to work.”
He was caught with £4,250 in cash, 24 grams of cocaine, three “burner” phones, as well as scales, deal lists and a fake Greek ID card.
He claimed he was dealing drugs to pay off a £15,000 debt to the people-smuggling gang who got him back into the UK.
The 26-year-old was jailed for three years and deported again.
However, earlier this month a police officer recognised Zani driving a Mercedes in Bournemouth, Dorset, and pulled him over, a court heard.
The officer found £1,935 cash in bundles and 24.75g of cocaine, valued at around £1,500.
Zani was arrested and charged with arriving in the UK without valid entry clearance, possessing criminal property, possessing cocaine with intent to supply and driving without a licence or insurance.
He pleaded guilty to the offences through an Albanian interpreter at Poole Magistrates’ Court.
No details were given about how he got back into the country this time.
