Only the newer XP and Huion models are worth mentioning as the new pens handle the pressure much better.

Wacom is worth, but only if you want to "minimax" the pressure handling and find one on sale or 2nd hand in great condition.
Optimizing the UI helps a lot, this way I was able to maximize the size of my Cintiq 16
