I didn't suggest malice, but I don't respect it even if it comes from well intentions, and think people shouldn't invest in stuff designed by committees.
RemoteStorage is as simple as it could be, and Peergos is as private as it could be, the academic pedigree is worthless to me.
And the only way to stop running headless looking for self worth, is to just impress yourself, I don't think PhD will do you any better than learning to do a backflip.
