I just found time to listen to Galeotti's latest podcast episode on this too (at the gym, no less) – something he points out (and that I neglected) is what this broken security guarantee means domestically. It's very easy to write off Putin's promise to Prigozhin as something that obviously wouldn't have been kept – but domestically it is significant that Putin so publicly reneged on his word / changed his mind #Prigozhin #Putin #Russia
